The Kurt Weill Foundation is pleased to announce the acquisition of three half-hour television programs that highlight the works of Marc Blitzstein. Made for the long-running arts series “Camera Three” in 1964 and 1976, the videos feature Jerry Orbach, Leonard Bernstein, Aaron Copland, John Houseman, Howard da Silva, and others discussing and performing portions of The Cradle Will Rock, Regina, and the “Airborne” Symphony. In one memorable scene, Leonard Bernstein performs Blitzstein’s song, “Zipperfly,” in full, accompanying himself on the piano.
